Terms of Service

01The service

VoiceLamp is a private workspace for producing audio: generating speech and two-voice podcasts, transcribing, translating and dubbing, cleaning and separating audio, and generating sound effects and music. Some features are performed by third-party AI providers on our behalf; they are listed in our Privacy Policy.

We may add, change, or retire features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

02Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email; we do not offer or store passwords. Your first sign-in creates your VoiceLamp workspace, and signing in later either way with the same email opens the same workspace. Keep your email and Google accounts secure; you are responsible for activity in your workspace.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use VoiceLamp.

03Plans, credits, and payment

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled and add production credits to your balance. You can also buy one-time credit top-ups. Plans or credits given to you by invitation or by our team are subject to these terms in the same way. Jobs use credits at the price shown before you approve each job. Reserved credits for a job that fails are returned automatically.

Card payments in US dollars: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for these orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for them. Prices, taxes, and invoices are shown at checkout.

Rupee payments (JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast, and cards in PKR) are sold by Softapex Technologies SMC LTD and processed by our payment partner RapidGateway. A rupee plan payment covers one month and does not renew automatically.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may only be used within VoiceLamp. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

04Your content

You keep ownership of the files, scripts, and recordings you upload, and of the outputs created for you, to the extent the law allows. You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service, including sending it to the provider that performs the job you requested.

You confirm you have the rights needed for everything you upload, including recordings of other people's voices and any music you separate, translate, or dub.

05Voice cloning and consent

A private voice may only be created from a person who has given verifiable permission. Our review team checks identity, consent, and intended use before any voice is activated, and may reject or withdraw a voice at any time.

If permission is withdrawn, you must stop using the voice and withdraw it in VoiceLamp.

06Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. It forbids impersonation, fraud, harassment, and other harmful uses. We may suspend work or accounts that break it.

07AI output

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to other content. Transcripts, translations, captions, and generated audio should be reviewed before you publish them. You are responsible for how you use outputs, including any labelling of AI-generated audio required where you publish.

08Suspension and ending the agreement

You may stop using VoiceLamp and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect people or the service. When an account ends, we delete its content as described in our Privacy Policy.

09Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you about material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use VoiceLamp after that means you accept the update.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.
